HATHA YOGA

Yoga is an art, science, and way of life that has been developed in India. It incorporates asanas (poses and postures), vinyasa (dynamic exercises that combine movement with breath), pranayama (breath control) and meditation. 

 

The style of hatha yoga we teach is derived from the work of Professor T.Krishnamacharya. Who was the teacher of two very influential yoga masters: Sri B.K.S. Iyengar (Light on Yoga); Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (who developed Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga).

Alexander is an experienced teacher (500hrs + YTTC Ashtanga Vinyasa system) and for many years a dedicated student of Beate Guttandin and several other Yoga Masters like Manju Jois, Mark Darby, Rolf Naujokat and Reinhard Gammenthaler (who refers to the Lineage of Dhirendra Brahmachari).

 

Malwina (200 hrs YTTC) has been studying mainly Iyengar and Vinyasa Yoga. In 2015 she completed a second Teacher Training in Synergy Method by Simon Borg Olivier & Bianca Machliss.

 

For both of them the yoga journey helps to open the heart and clear the mind, to ultimately discover the transcendental self, the atma or the divine.

We’re here to honor and empower your journey toward personal growth and well-being. No matter your age or fitness level, we aim to inspire ease, confidence and a sense of possibility that lasts long after you finish your asana practice.

Our classes deliver precise instruction to align students breath with fluid movement. We place an emphasis on thoughtful sequencing and offer modifications so you can customise your practice along the way.

Online weekly classes live on Zoom

Join us online - we teach every week online classes. Wednesday Synergy Viniyasa with Malva and Friday Kalari with Alexander. We look forward to see you virtually. There are no excuses - now practice is possible in your home!

Klari Vinyasa

With Alexander

It is a bridge between Yoga and Kalari, developing more warrior like practice. This class is suitable for all the practitioners. It can be a bit more intense than a usual yoga class and a great preparation before a full format Kalari training.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

With Malwina

Special emhasis is given to breathing techniques directed to expand a woman´s breathing capacity in gentle and effective ways that can be useful during preparation for labor, birthing her baby and the postnatal period to promote physical and emotional wellbeing. An important focus is also given to pelvic area awareness, promoting elasticity and stability.
